Heinkel He 118

The Heinkel He 118 was a single-engine dive bomber in the 1930s. It was rejected in favour of the Junkers Ju 87 Stuka, but although it did not go into mass production, it played a controversial role in the design of the Japanese Yokosuka D4Y Suisei (Judy) and served as a flying test bed for the first turbojet to be used in flight, the Heinkel HeS 3.
