Blohm & Voss Bv P-170
The Blohm & Voss P 170 was an unbuilt project for a fast, unarmed, three-engine bomber developed during World War II. Its layout was unusual, with two of the three engines mounted on the wingtips of a straight, untapered shoulder wing. To balance the considerable weight positioned ahead of the wing, the crew was placed as far back as possible in the fuselage. The aircraft was designed to accommodate a crew of two and was intended to be powered by three BMW 801 D radial engines. |
