The Arado Ar 232 was a four-engined high-wing tactical transport aircraft. Innovative in its design, characterised by its large fuselage easily accessible via a rear access ramp thanks to its high tail, it became the progenitor of the aircraft used in that role for the following years even after the end of World War II, although only a limited number were produced.
