The Dornier Do X, also called the Flugschiff (‘flying ship’), was the largest, heaviest and most powerful seaplane in the world when it was produced in 1929.Made to cross the Atlantic and reach the Americas. Luxurious passenger accommodation was close to ocean liner standards. There were three decks.
