The Focke-Achgelis Fa 330 ‘Bachstelze’ was a small unpowered gyrocopter designed for use on submarines and ships. Since operation from a submarine prevented the submarine from diving quickly unless the aircraft and pilot were left behind, the success of the model was very limited. Later, the possibility of modifying the Fa 330 into a helicopter equipped with a 60 hp engine was examined, but the decision was deemed unfeasible. source wikipedia
