Blohm & Voss Ha 140
The Blohm & Voss Ha 140 was a German multi-role seaplane designed in 1935 to replace the Heinkel He 59. Designed as a long-range reconnaissance and torpedo bomber, it featured a rare innovation for the time: a variable-incidence wing, capable of rotating around its axis to improve landing on water and reduce the risk of engine failure. With only three prototypes built, the Ha 140 never went into production: the contract went to its rival, the Heinkel He 115.
