Blohm & Voss BV 142

The design of the BV 142 was directly inspired by the experience gained from its predecessor, the Ha 139 seaplane, in commercial Atlantic crossings. The new model was distinguished by the presence of a traditional landing gear. Shortly after the start of the Second World War, the Luftwaffe proposed converting all four prototypes into long-range maritime reconnaissance aircraft. Source: Wikipedia
